| Dear Potential Sponsor:
We are excited to announce a
meeting that will be revolutionary in many ways and will
change the focus of how we deal with the uninsured
population in our state. This two-day meeting is a grass
roots effort to get people from our communities to meet
and figure out how they can help on a
community-by-community basis. I have enclosed a summary
of what will happen during the two days.
We have invited individuals
from Communities Joined in Action (CJA) to assist us
with this event. CJA has been heavily involved in
helping numerous communities across the nation to take
responsibility for the uninsured in their communities.
Much of the funding for this
event is being made available from a grant and technical
assistance funds from HRSA. However, we need your help
to complete the needed funding and would ask you to join
us as a sponsor of this event. We would hope that you
could donate $500 to $1,000 to help cover some of the
expenses. We plan on having more than 200 individuals
from all over North Dakota attend and participate in
this planning event. I have enclosed some material that
gives a descriptive summary of the conference.
