$50,000 Grant Awarded to CJA/CHLN to Provide Better Health for More People for Less Cost Olympia, WA - Communities Joined in Action (CJA) and Communities Health Leadership Network (CHLN) recently received a $50,000 grant from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation of Battle Creek, Michigan. The grant will enable CJA/CHLN to continue their efforts to revolutionize health care by helping communities ensure health care access for everyone. CJA is a catalyst in the national movement to achieve 100% Access/0 Disparities. The grant will assist CJA, a non-profit membership organization, to broker access to value-added technical talent, peer-mentors from model communities, coaches with first-hand experience and experts who can help communities at every step in the process – from gaining commitment of political leaders and evaluating health care delivery options to communicating financial returns and developing and financing business plans.
