Coleman Tanner is a Research Associate with Georgia Health Policy Center where she provides technical assistance to a diverse group of communities in assessments, strategic planning, implementing evidence-based practices, and sustainability planning. She brings experience in upstream approaches to create policy, system, and environmental solutions to public health problems utilizing skills of building partnerships and coalitions and community organizing. Building the capacity of multi-sectored partnerships to address the social determinants of health has been a focus of Tanner’s professional work. Her expertise include rural health, healthy eating and active living, and school wellness.
