As community health worker in the social worker field for 15 years, both in a nonprofit and now with Molina Health Care for 5+ years, Ms. Silver has found the Boots on the ground approach is where you meet the community to assess the barriers, which are vast, and it varies with each member in the community is how you can really make a difference in their health and to make a Healthier Washington. Trust and compassion has been Ms. Silver’s model for herself. She comes from a very caring background and with knowledge with education it brought her to why she cares about the community members so deeply. Ms. Silver personally know what grief is and what accomplishments are. Working with the ACH for years as a member and chair of Community Advisory Council, Ms. Silver found a platform to be able to put her education and skill into action. Bottom line, she is a solution seeker.
